City Mayor Gives P829 Thousand as Financial Assistance to
Relocated Residence of Cabugwason

     The 829 relocated families from Brgy. 6, 8 and 9 received financial assistance from the City in the of P1,000.00 per family. Bacolod City Mayor Evelio R. Leonardia personally delivered the aid to the families at simple ceremonies at the Cabugwason Relocation Site last February 13, 2005.
     In his short inspirational talk to the residents, the mayor looked to the future when, with the continuing development of urban sites, it will be necessary for more and more people to be relocated. Those who have relocated early, like families at the Cabugwason, have the advantage. He encouraged the families to fully develop as a community.
     Also present at the ceremony were Lone District of Bacolod Congressman Monico Puentevella, Councilor Cordova, Punong Barangays Gary Yanson (Brgy. 9), Jessie Chua (Brgy. 6) and Aurora Santander (Brgy. 8). (CMO-PIO/osb)
