City Conducts More Tree Planting in the Barangays

    The city government recently conducted its regular tree planting activity, this time in Barangay Estefania, as part of its Clean and Green thrust.
     Headed by PAAD Officer-in-Charge Santiago Adorio and Executive Assistant Butch Soliguen, casual and regular employees from the Public Affairs and Assistance Division-Barangay Operations Bureau participated in the activity, which was held at the compound of Ramonito Maravilla, Sr. – Bata National High School Extension.
     They were able to plant some 160 acacia tree seedlings and 4 jackfruit trees at the school grounds with the assistance of faculty and students of the said school headed by their principal, Mrs. Josefa Jopson.
     Officials of Barangay Estefania headed by Punong Barangay Diosdado Valenzuela also assisted in the said activity.*(CMO-PIO/jmi)
