US Embassy holds Outreach Program on Sept. 16

   Officials of the Social Security Administration of American Embassy in Manila are arriving to meet the U.S. Social Security pensioners residing in Bacolod City and the province of Negros Occidental at the Bacolod Bays Center on Thursday, September 16, 2004, 8:00 a.m. through 12:00 noon.
     The outreach aims to disseminate information regarding the U.S. Social Security programs and services, accept applications for security pensions/social security number and will resolve post-entitlement issues.
     There will be various topics to be discussed such as development of claims for social security benefits, issuance of social security number, medicare/tricare, direct deposit, resolution and alien taxation.
      This information was relayed to the office of Mayor Evelio Leonardia by Social Security Administration Division headed by Mr. Thomas Ashley of the U.S. Embassy, Manila.* (CMO-PIO/dmg)
