PROMENADE FOUNTAIN REPAIRED

    The Promenade Fountain located at Libertad - Araneta Streets is now being repaired as directed by Mayor Evelio Leonardia. Per Mayor's orders, Executive Assistant, Chris Monte coordinated with the City Engineer's Office headed by Engr. Ephraim Hechanova to take charge of the rehabilitation of the said fountain.
     Chris Monte said the Promenade Fountain, which was constructed during the first term of Mayor Leonardia, has not been functioning for about three years now due to an overheated submersible pump. He said, this is part of the "Rebuilding Mission" of the Leonardia Administration to beautify the city not just for the preparation for the coming MassKara Festival but for the purpose of bringing back its old glory.
     He added, his office will conduct an operation to repair all the fountains including those at the public plaza which are no longer functioning. * (CMO-PIO/sar)
