City to host US Embassy Outreach

  The Social Security Administration Division of the U.S. Embassy in Manila will conduct its outreach in the city on September 16, 2004.
     Mayor Evelio "Bing" Leonardia disclosed that the office of Mr. Thomas Ashley has requested the city of Bacolod to host the said activity by providing the venue that can accommodate the U.S. Social Security prospective applicants for benefits and the U.S. pensioners living in Negros Occidental and Bacolod City.
     The said U.S. agency will discuss several topics such as development of claims for social security benefits, issuance of social security number, medicare/tricare, direct deposit, resolution of post-entitlement cases and alien taxation.* (CMO-PIO/dmg)*
