Leonardia meets Rotarians

    Despite his hectic schedule, Mayor Evelio R. Leonardia took time to meet the members of the Rotary Club of Bacolod-North during its regular meeting at the L’Fisher Hotel yesterday.
     It was the first official meeting of Mayor Leonardia, being the local chief executive of the city, with the rotarians.
     Rotarian Nestor Jalandoni Jr. noted that it has been 10 years that Mayor Leonardia has not spoken before the members of RCB-North.
     Mayor Leonardia discussed several issues and concerns confronting the city. Among them were: garbage, fiscal situation, traffic, sidewalk vendors and other problems.
     After the open forum, Rotarian Jalandoni expressed appreciation to the presence of Mayor Leonardia and for his candid and sincere response to the queries of the RCB-North members.
     Jalandoni also thanked Mayor Leonardia for recognizing RCB-North as partners in rebuilding the City of Bacolod.*(CMO-PIO/osb)
