- First 6-month period report (July 1, 2010 - December
31, 2010)
- Completion of the
in-house developed Electronic Business Integrated System
(e-BIS). An ORACLE based application, e-BIS was designed
to replace the existing Visual Basic based application,
Tax Revenue and Collection System (TRACS). The system
includes:
- Online Business Permits
and Licensing System at the Permits and Licensing
Division - Office of the City Mayor.
- Online Billing and
Collection System at the License Division - Office of
the City Treasurer;
- Salient features of
the system:
- Electronic
capturing and printing of Business Application
Data
- Online
generation of Business Permits
- Online
assessment and business taxes
- Online Billing
- Online
collection and generation of Official Receipts

- Computer
generated reports
- Management
monitoring information like real time computer
display of business transaction data to include
daily, month-to-date and year-to-date number of
Business Permits issued and Business Tax
Collection.

- Implementation of the ORACLE based Electronic

- On-going enhancement of front-end program modules as
my be required by end-users.
- On-going development of regular and ad hoc reports
required by city departments/offices and other agencies
of the government.
- On-going maintenance and monitoring of system
performance.

Accomplishment
for the Calendar Year 2006

- Local
Area Network
- Setting up A Local Area
Network at the Accounting Department and installation of
Windows 2000 Operating System on the server where the
electronic New Government Accounting System (e-NGAS)
software was installed. This set-up was used for
database buildup.
- Systems Availability
- 100% availability of computer resources. Downtime is
mainly due to power outrage.
- Restoration of IT equipment in its functional state at
a short period of time during the water overflow that
drenched our computer servers thus enabling the city
government to continue its service to the public within
a short period of time.
- Application Program
- Development and deployment of a software program using
ORACLE for the Integrated Community Based Information
system (ICBIS)
- Computer Maintenance and installation/upgrading of
software programs.

Accomplishment

- Wireless
Network set-up
- A wireless Wide Area Network was set-up to connect
five (5) offices of the City Government in various
location outside of City Hall to the base station at
MITCS this providing internet access and data transfer
among said offices. The offices involved are the General
Services Office, Bacolod Housing Authority, Accounting
Department, Bacolod City College and City Engineer's
Office.
- Timely
submission of reports
- The Daily Collection Report is now generated on a
daily basis. Before we have experienced backlog for
several days.
- Application
Programs
- Development and deployment of Lot Beneficiary
Information System for the Bacolod Housing Authority.
Program modules include:
- Master file maintenance of original lot awardees
and actual occupants;
- Data Entry for lot payments;
- Report generation - Alpha Master List per site.
- Development of the general revision programs.
- Setting-up
of a database and monitoring system for computers of the
City. This will enable us to monitor repair history,
warranty period and the like.
