GUIDELINES FOR BUSINESS CLEARANCES

1. Barangay Clearance may be obtained through the respective duly authorized representative of each barangay upon payment of the required fees.
   

2. Zoning clearance may be obtained upon payment of the required fees. Inspection will be conducted on later date.
   

3. Health clearance will be required only after payment of the applicable business taxes, regulatory fees and charges.
   

4. Fire Safety Clearance may be obtained upon inspection and payment of the required fees. For permit renewal purposes, public utilities and sari-sari stores are exempted from the requirement.
   

5. Payment of Real Estate Taxes is required only for real estate lessors subdivision owners, dormitories, boarding houses, lodging houses and apartments.
   

6. City Veterinary's clearance for selling agricultural products as livestock, meat, poultry meat/eggs and fish including frozen products may be obtained after payment of the required fees.
   

7. Tourism-oriented and related establishments like hotels, pensions, inns, lodging houses, restaurants, resorts must obtain clearance from the City Tourism Office.
   

8. Market Clearance obtainable at the respective public market offices is required for occupant of public market stall/space before permit assessment and payment of the required taxes, charges and fees are made.
   

9. Community tax certificate is required from all permit applicants.
   

10. Notarial Services may be availed at OSS-BAY Center at the Permitees' option during the operation of the one-stop-shop every January.
    

11. Upon preliminary approval of permit application by the Permit and Licensing division, City Mayor's Office, the assessment of business taxes, charges and fees shall be the responsibility of the Assessment Division, Treasurer's Office and shall be made as basis for the payment of the imposition thereof. It is subject to examination of books of accounts and other pertinent records to ascertain the correct amount of tax, fee or charge after permit/license has been granted, and
    

12. BUSINESS PERMITS AND LICENSES shall be issued at the Permits and Licensing Office, City Mayor's Office and the same shall be expeditiously dispatch by a team of personnel duly deputizes as signatories to facilitate early release of same.
