ASSESSMENT OF THE STATE OF
THE PEACE AND ORDER IN THE CITY

A. LAW ENFORCEMENT OPERATIONS

The religious implementations of current thrusts of PNP and various projects with community involvement resulted to a peaceful place, safe to live and do what one wishes to do without fear of being intimidated by anybody.

A healthy relationship of an organization with the citizenry being served produce a perception that the police are at the helm of law enforcement.

Likewise, constant coordination with concerned government agencies and NGOs resulted to positive and active participation of the community to respond to their best interest in the attainment of peaceful and orderly community that will pave the way for economic, political and social development of the city.

B. GENERAL ADMINISTRATION AND SUPPORT SERVICES

The reputation of the police has improved tremendously due to the strict implementation of guidelines and policies from higher office especially the proper wearing of GOA uniform, which attributed to the improvement in the personality and representation of every policeman of his office in particular.

This office maintains its thrust in continuously regaining the support and respect of the people of Bacolod by means of proper delivery of basic police services to every citizen of this city.

On the contrary, administrative sanctions and punishment were also meted against erring personnel to pave the way for an improved, educated and well-disciplined police office worthy of its role as public servants. To bolster the morale, incentives, awards and commendations were also given to the deserving personnel to further motivate other aspiring PNP personnel of this office including civilians and NUPs to strive and work harder for the improvement in rendering basic police services to the community. Likewise, to encourage emulation from other PNP personnel of this office who are altogether important contributory factors in making BCPO worthy of the people’s trust and confidence, continuous police information and education to maintain the good and credible image of this office and the PNP organizations as a whole is always emphasize.
