Bacolod Voted Again As ’Best Place To Live In PH’
Eight years after being hailed by MoneySense magazine as the No. 1 city in its "Best Places to Live in the Philippines" list in 2008, Bacolod City was again conferred the same title by a social media group recently.
The Conyo Times ranked Bacolod as the No. 1 among 10 leading cities in the country in its "The Best Cities to Live in the Philippines" list.

Dolphy’s Son Speaks At Bacolod Symposium On Drugs
The son and namesake of the late "King of Comedy" Dolphy addressed the participants of the symposium on "City-Wide Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program" at the Bacolod Arts Youth and Sports (BAYS) Center today [March 15].
 Rodolfo Quizon Jr., also known as "Dolphy Jr.," a former drug dependent but has successfully turned his life around, shared his his road to recovery.
 

City Gov’t Gives Cash Incentives To Palaro Winners
The City Government gave cash incentives totaling to P302,500 to Bacolod City athletes who won gold, silver, and bronze medals in the recent Palarong NIR (Negros Island Region), at rites at the Bacolod City Government Center today [March 14].
These include the 393 athletes who won 178 gold medals in individual and group events.

 

City Rewards BCC Topnotcher With P30K Cash Incentive, Fetes 74 LET Passers
The Bacolod City government gave a P30,000 cash incentive to a Bacolod City College (BCC) graduate who ranked 9th in the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET)- Elementary Level given by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in September last year.
