For ease in
doing business and with the objective of enhancing the
efforts of the city in attracting more potential investors
to locate their businesses in the city, the BACOLOD BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND INVESTMENT PROMOTION
CENTER (BBDIPC) was established under the City Mayor’s
Office, thru its mandate, the Investment Code (C.O. 323
series of 2002) to assist enterprises, investors, potential
investors, various stakeholders, and clientele...
The Center aims to be a channel of investment
communication and provide conducive business environment
which will affirm that doing business in Bacolod is a right
decision.
Bacolod City as a fast-developing metropolis
would benefit from the inevitable influx of investments and
business opportunities in the city, as the "Most Business
Friendly City" of the Philippines in 2007, and the country’s
top ranked LGU in terms of its responsiveness to business
needs, Bacolod City has to sustain the momentum gained in
its monumental economic growth for the last seven (7) years,
thus it is a necessity to operationalize the Bacolod
Business Development and Investment Promotion Center (BBDIPC).
With these, an Executive Order No. 27, Series of 2011
was issued on November 02, 2011 for the re-establishment and
strengthening of the Center.
