The city's campaign against rabid stray-dogs resulted to the capture 1,271 since January-June 2005. Bacolod City Veterinarian Dr. Adelo P. Daroy said of the 1,271 captured 1029 were terminated, 239 claimed by their owners while 2 were adopted.
